WorldStage– United Bank for Africa (UBA), subsidiary of Heirs Holdings has announced the retirement of Erelu Angela Adebayo, a non-executive director from the board of the bank May 4.
A statement the company secretary Bili A. Odum issued on the Nigerian Exchange Group stated Adebayo served on the board’s audits and governance and the risk and management committee.
Adebayo joined the board in 2018 as an independent nonexecutive director (INED)—till her retirement early May.
“The board of UBA expresses its deep appreciation for Erelu Angela Adebayo for her dedication and significant contributions to the group,” the statement added, wishing her the best in her future endeavors.
