*Releases direct complaint hotlines to parents*
WorldStage– The Federal Ministry of Education has announced zero tolerance for illegal charges in public schools, warning principals and administrators against demanding unauthorized payments.
Education Minister, Dr. Tunji Alausa, ordered circulars to be sent to all schools and parents, stressing that free education must remain truly free.
Parents have been urged to report any extortion directly through the phone lines and website – 0803 657 6733, 0803 637 3796 and tse@education.gov.ng
The Minister assured that all complaints will be treated urgently to protect the government’s free education policy.
