WorldStage– Geregu Power Plc has released its financial forecast for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2026, projecting a profit after tax of N450.32 million.
According to the forecast submitted to the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), the power generating company expects to generate N10.95 billion in revenue between October and December 2026. Cost of sales for the period is budgeted at N6.57 billion, leaving a gross profit target of N4.38 billion.

Operating Performance & Net Finance Costs The company anticipates administrative expenses of N2.25 billion and an impairment loss on financial assets of N547.43 million, bringing the targeted operating profit to N1.58 billion.
Net finance costs are expected to drag earnings by N911.45 million. While finance income is estimated at N1.27 billion, finance costs of N2.19 billion lead to a projected profit before tax of N672.17 million, before accounting for a tax provision of N221.85 million.
Cash Flow Outlook Geregu Power anticipates strong operational cash inflow, targeting N24.85 billion in cash receipts from energy and capacity charges. After accounting for N10.59 billion in supplier/employee payments and N8.34 billion in tax payments, net cash generated from operations is projected at N5.91 billion.
Capital allocations include N3.58 billion earmarked for major overhaul project financing and N53 million for intangible assets. Net cash increase for the period is expected at N1.97 billion, pushing closing cash and cash equivalents to N50.32 billion by year-end.
