WorldStage– Geregu Power Plc has reacted to the WorldStage report Geregu Power reports recent developments in board/management with NGX on old letterhead with old directors on August 17 which drew attention to its filing information with the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) in old letterhead containing old directors by reissuing the same notice same date but on its new letterhead .
The story had stated that even though, Geregu Power Plc effected ownership change on 29 December 2025, with the previous board resigning and a new board appointed, the letterhead with which the company is still filing information with the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) is the old one that had Femi Otedola CON as the (chairman) and Akin Akinfemiwa as the Chief Executive Officer.
However, in the reissued notice filed with the NGX on August 18, Geregu Power listed its current directors as; Senator Abdul-Aziz Abubakar (Board Charman, Sean Manley (Chief Executive Officer) America,. Non Executive Directors: Neka Uzoamaka Adogu, Dr Abdulkadeer Njiddah, Mahmud Abubakar Mgaji SAN, Dr Abdullahi Abudulkarin Tsafe Independent Non Executive Directors: Usman Gur Mohammed, Mohammed Sami Jaafaru, Cief Olukunle Oyewole.
