WorldStage– PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has released its annual report and financial statements for the fiscal year ended May 31, 2026, delivering a strong financial performance despite challenging economic conditions.
Key Financial Highlights include revenue rising by 22% to ₦260.46 billion, compared to ₦212.63 billion recorded in the 2025 financial year, operating Profit surged 307% to ₦77.06 billion, up from ₦18.92 billion in 2025, Profit Before Tax Advanced 364% to ₦77.32 billion from ₦16.66 billion in the preceding year, Profit After Tax clambered 349% to ₦45.17 billion, up from ₦10.07 billion in FY 2025, Basic & Diluted EPS stood at ₦10.87 per share, reflecting a 369% increase from ₦2.32 per share recorded in 2025.
Dividend Declaration and Shareholder Return Following the earnings growth, the Board of Directors recommended a final dividend payout of ₦9.93 billion, translating to ₦2.50 per share for the year ended May 31, 2026. Pending shareholder ratification at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM), the dividend is scheduled for payment on October 30, 2026.
Balance Sheet Recovery showed that the company’s total equity bounced back to positive territory at ₦66.64 billion at year-end, recovering from a negative equity position of ₦17.34 billion reported in 2025.
The report also detailed major changes in executive leadership effective June 1, 2026 with the Chief Executive Officer- Mr. Oghale Elueni was appointed as CEO following the resignation of Mr. Dimitris Kostianis on May 31, 2026; Chief Financial Officer: Mr. Oludare Ebenezer Elusakin assumed the role of CFO.
