WorldStage Newsonline– The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) and the National Orientation Agency (NOA) have taken a strategic move to spread the right orientation on the benefit of insurance across the country.
According to a statement, this was part of the discussion during a courtesy visit of NAICOM, Commissioner for Insurance, Mr. Olorundare Sunday to the Director General of the (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Oniluin Abuja.
It said in a move to safeguard Nigerians from risk of not been insured NAICOM and NOA are seeking collaboration in order to give Nigerians the right orientation with regards to Insurance by leveraging their strategic network/reach-out to Nigerians on the benefits of insurances.
In his remark, the Director General NOA enjoined NAICOM to leverage on its structure, reach, platforms as well as understanding of the locality where they have presence and promised to work closely with NAICOM.
He gave a personal testimony that his insurance claim was promptly settled in 2007 when his private car was stolen.
