WorldStage– Insiders are are having a feast day with BUA Cement Plc shares on Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) following the end of the company’s closed period March 13.
With a market capitalization of N8.37 trillion and stock rallying 51.3 percent to N270 last Friday, the cement company began with two transactions, according to a disclosure on the NGX.
Company secretary, Hauwa Satomi, bought 400,000 shares at N268.1 each while Chikezie Ajaero, chief finance officer, bought 350,000 shares at N269.1 each same day.
The volume of the first two trades amounted to N201.4 million.
The rise in stock price followed investors’ anticipation of N10 per share dividend declaration
