WorldStage– Energy supplier Eterna PLC has released its financial forecast for the fourth quarter of 2026, projecting a robust close to the financial year driven by solid top-line revenue growth.
According to the official filing submitted to the Nigerian Exchange Regulation (NGX), Eterna PLC estimates a fourth-quarter revenue of N133.44 billion, bringing its expected full-year total revenue to N334.12 billion.

Financial Highlights & Profitability
Q4 Gross Profit: Expected at N10.54 billion, taking the full-year forecast to N23.08 billion against a cost of sales projected at N311.04 billion.
Profitability: Q4 Profit Before Tax (PBT) is forecasted at N5.59 billion, which projects full-year PBT to hit N8.07 billion.
Net Income: After deducting an estimated full-year taxation of N2.75 billion, the company anticipates a full-year Profit After Tax (PAT) of N5.33 billion (with Q4 PAT accounting for N3.69 billion).
Operating Costs & Finance: Marketing, distribution, and administrative expenses are estimated at N4.09 billion for Q4 and N12.26 billion for the year, while interest payables and similar charges for the year are projected at N3.40 billion.
Cash Flow Position
The forecast indicates a healthy liquidity posture, driven by strong operational activities. Net cash generated from operating activities is projected at N20.42 billion for the year. Despite expected capital outflows from investing activities (N6.25 billion) and financing activities (N6.62 billion), Eterna projects a net increase in cash and cash equivalents of N7.55 billion.
This will bring the company’s total closing cash and cash equivalents to N12.30 billion at the end of the period, up from N4.75 billion at the start of the year.
