WorldStage– The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released the full list of members appointed to the New Media Committee of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The list, which features over 200 fresh appointments, was unveiled on Monday, September 7, 2026, signaling the ruling party’s aggressive, early digital mobilization strategy.
The digital rollout aims to strengthen online mobilization and project the administration’s policy achievements.
The expansive list features digital strategists, regional coordinators, and content creators drawn from across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
The new media arm features key figures tasked with driving online engagement, with Segun Dada coordinating as the Director of New Media, supported by Solomon Arowolo as Secretary.
Regional coordinators, including appointees like Theresa Tekenah for the South-South, will manage grassroots digital messaging.
The extensive rollout was made public through a series of digital broadcasts from the official Renewed Hope 2.0 account on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
According to party insiders, the creation of this expansive committee is aimed at shaping public narrative, countering opposition viewpoints, and projecting the key milestones achieved by the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The deployment of over 200 media strategists emphasizes the APC’s determination to dominate the digital landscape.
The official communication confirmed that the committee has been structured to commence tasks immediately, spreading across multiple digital sub-sectors, including content creation, strategy, data analytics, and grassroots digital engagement.
Political analysts view this early setup as a deliberate effort to lock down key voter segments long before regular campaigns kick off.
This specialized deployment follows a series of broad strategic moves by the ruling party, including recent commitments from eleven APC-led states pledging millions of votes for President Tinubu’s second-term bid.
The new media structure reports directly into the principal architecture of the broader APC Presidential Campaign Council, with the overarching campaign engine chaired by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu himself, with Vice President Kashim Shettima and the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, serving as Vice Chairmen.
The operations of the campaign council are spearheaded by former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, who serves as the Director-General, alongside Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, operating as the council’s Secretary.
Reports show that with the complete formation of the New Media Committee, the APC has solid structures on the ground to push its governance scorecards aggressively online.
As the 2027 political calendar begins to take shape, the ruling party is leaving no stone unturned, leveraging massive human capital to drive home its renewed hope mandate across all digital channels.
