WorldStage– President Bola Tinubu has directed the temporary opening of the 37.9km Bodo-Bonny road in Rivers State on November 30th.
The project, which started under former President Buhari, is scheduled to be completed in February 2026, with finishing touches ongoing on some sections.
The road, which includes 13 bridges, will be the first land route linking Bonny Island to the mainland through Bodo in Gokana Local Government Area and is jointly funded by the Federal Government and NLNG.
