WorldStage– Proprietary investment company VFD Group Plc has projected a net profit of ₦4.07 billion for the fourth quarter ending December 31, 2026, according to its latest earnings forecast submitted to the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX).
The forecast demonstrates strong operational expectations for the final quarter of the year, driven primarily by significant earnings from investment activities.

Revenue & Expense Breakdown
The bulk of VFD Group’s revenue is set to stem from its core investment portfolio, with investment and similar income contributing ₦19.38 billion—representing over 95% of total gross earnings. Other income sources are projected to add ₦853.52 million to operating revenue.
On the cost side, the company anticipates ₦11.11 billion in investment-related expenses, alongside total operating expenses (OPEX) of ₦3.31 billion. OPEX projections include:
Other Operating Expenses: ₦1.85 billion
Personnel Expenses: ₦1.05 billion
Depreciation & Amortization: ₦407.50 million
Additionally, provisions for net impairment charges on financial and other assets are estimated at ₦737.86 million, bringing net operating income after impairment to ₦8.39 billion.
Income tax expenses for the period are estimated at ₦1.02 billion, leaving the group with a forecasted bottom-line profit of ₦4.07 billion.
