WorldStage– United Nigeria Airlines has confirmed that an altercation occurred between social media influencers, Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkman (VDM), and Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, known as Mr. Jollof, during the boarding of Flight UN0523 at Asaba International Airport on the morning of November 17, 2025.
In a statement, the airline said its crew acted immediately and professionally to de-escalate the situation, deboarding both passengers to ensure the safety and security of fellow travellers.
The two were handed over to airport security for further investigation, while the flight proceeded safely after standard protocols were completed.
