WorldStage– Omatek Ventures Plc, the Nigerian technology and computer hardware group, has released its unaudited consolidated financial statements for the six months ended 30 June 2026, showing continued losses and negative equity at the group level.
Omatek Ventures statements filed with the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) showed thaat the Group recorded minimal revenue during the period (approximately ₦1 million in the reported figures), with gross profit remaining negligible after cost of sales.
Administrative expenses drove results from operating activities to a loss of about ₦31.43 million for the half-year (compared with a loss of roughly ₦12.63 million in H1 2025).
Profit/(loss) before tax and total comprehensive income for the Group stood at a loss of approximately ₦31.43 million for January–June 2026.
Basic and diluted loss per share was ₦0.004 (or up to ₦0.011 in quarterly figures, depending on the period presented). Non-controlling interests also shared in the loss.
At company (separate) level, the loss was lower, around ₦10–16 million for the half-year or relevant quarters.
On the balance sheet as at 30 June 2026, the Group reported total non-current assets of ₦2.402 billion (primarily investment property of ₦2.2 billion) and total assets of approximately ₦2.43 billion.
However, accumulated retained earnings remained deeply negative at about ₦5.87 billion.
Total equity stood at a deficit of roughly ₦2.727 billion, including negative non-controlling interests.
Share capital was ₦1.471 billion and share premium ₦4.376 billion, with a revaluation reserve of ₦615 million.
The financial statements were approved by the Board of Directors on 28 July 2026 and signed on its behalf by Group Chairman Dr. Timothy Farinre, Group Managing Director/CEO Mr. Yemi Ogundipe, FCA, and Chief Finance Officer Mr. Anthony O. Omhenke.
