WorldStage— Johnvents Industries Limited, a leading Nigerian agribusiness company engaged in the processing, manufacturing, export, and distribution of agricultural commodities and consumer products has launched its hunt for N30billion to further grow its business.
The seeks to achieve its target through issuance of commercial paper under its N100billion commercial paper issuance programme series 25, 26 and 27. The Offer which is now open is scheduled to close on August 4, 2026.
Proceeds from the Offer will be used to support the Company’s working capital requirements, particularly the procurement of cocoa inventory ahead of the Main Crop season.
Since its establishment in 2016, the Company has grown into an integrated agro-industrial player with cocoa processing facilities in Ondo State and operations spanning domestic and international markets.
Johnvents has strengthened its growth strategy through processing capacity expansion, international market diversification, and strategic funding partnerships with global development finance institutions. The Company maintains investment-grade BBB+ ratings from both Agusto & Co. and GCR, reflecting its strong liquidity and financial profile.
Johnvents controls an extensive agricultural network built from farm to fork: Akure Cocoa Processing Factory: An automated, 18,000 metric ton (MT) capacity facility located in Akure, Ondo State. It transitions raw cocoa beans into export-grade semi-finished items. Premier Cocoa Factory (Ile-Oluji): A pioneering legacy facility acquired to triple processing capacity, boosting the group’s total installed infrastructure capacity to meet local and global requirements. Commodity Aggregation & Logistics: Features a combined warehouse capacity of over 15,000 metric tons and a robust logistics fleet comprising more than 50 heavy-duty trucks for safe transit.
Over the past five years, Johnvents has delivered considerable growth, with revenue increasing from N6.32 billion in FY2021 to N250.93 billion in FY2025, while exports account for over 70 percent of total turnover, providing a natural hedge against foreign exchange volatility.
The company has formally announced plans to list on the NGX board within the next few years as part of its long-term corporate growth roadmap.
