WorldStage Newsonline– Ecobank Transnational Incorporated has released its condensed consolidated unaudited financial statements for the period ended 31 March 2024 with 20% rise in profit after tax up to $105.0 million (up 249% to NGN 140.9 billion).
The highlights of the Ecobank Group reports performance for 2024 first quarter include gross earnings down 1% to $673.9 million (up 193% to NGN 904.2 billion); revenue up 5% to $495.9 million (up 205% to NGN 665.4 billion); perating income before impairment charges up 17% to $229.2 million (up 241% to NGN 307.5 billion); profit before tax up 20% to $150.1 million (up 249% to NGN 201.5 billion)
Others include total assets down 3% to $26.5 billion (up 33% to NGN 34,572.2 billion); loans and advances to customers down 7% to $9.8 billion (up 27% to NGN 12,721.9 billion); deposits from customers down 4% to $19.2 billion (up 32% to NGN 25,024.4 billion); and total equity down 8% to $1.6 billion (up 27% to NGN 2,089.8 billion)
