WorldStage– Dangote Cement Plc has formally notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and its key stakeholders of an upcoming meeting of its Board of Directors scheduled for October 29, 2026.
According to an official corporate disclosure dated September 30, 2026, and signed by the Company Secretary, Edward Imoedemhe, the board will convene to deliberate on various corporate matters, most notably the approval of the company’s Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter ending September 30, 2026 (2026 Q3 UFS).
In line with governance standards and exchange listing rules, the company declared a Closed Trading Period effective from October 1, 2026. The trading restriction will remain in force until 24 hours after the Q3 financial results and any related board resolutions are made public.
The trading lockdown prohibits all insiders—including directors, employees, and relevant parties in possession of price-sensitive, non-public information—from trading or dealing in the company’s securities until the official release of the performance numbers.
