WorldStage Newsonline– Abbey Mortgage Bank Plc, a Mortgage bank quoted on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has issued a notice that its 28th Annual General Meeting will hold at No. 23 Karimu Kotun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos on Monday, 31st August 2020 at 11:00 a.m.
In the notice signed by in the Geoff O. Amaghereonu Esq., Company Secretary, the AGM will be to lay before the meeting the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31st December, 2019 together with the Reports of the Directors, Auditors and Audit Committee thereon; To elect/re-elect Directors; To authorize the Directors to fix the remuneration of the Auditors for 2020 financial year; To elect members of the Audit Committee
The notice said the AGM will be streamed live online to enable shareholders and other stakeholders who will not be attending physically to follow the proceedings.
It also said the Register of Members and Transfer Books of the Company will be closed from 24th August 2020 to 28th August, 2020 both dates inclusive.
