WorldStage Newsonline– Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, has reiterated the Federal Government’s commitment to creating business-friendly environment in the country.
Edun restated the commitment when a Turkish delegation ,led by the country’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Hidayet Bayraktai, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja on Friday.
He said that the meeting was a crucial step towards enhancing trade and investment between the two countries,
The Minister assured the delegation that the government would continue to support foreign businesses to strengthen economic ties.
Edun said that the President Bola Tinubu was committed to entrenching sustainable economic growth though his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
In his remarks, Bayraktai commended Nigeria’s economic progress and expressed appreciation to the president for his efforts toward creating enabling environment for businesses to flourish.
He said that they would also explore new opportunities to enhance trade and investment between the two countries.
The ambassador expressed optimism that the meeting would help drive growth, and prosperity in Nigeria and Turkey.
