WorldStage Newsonline– Staco Insurance Plc, a Nigerian group providing non-life insurance for fire, motor vehicle, oil, gas, marine, aviation, bond and engineering has forwarded a financial statement covering a period ended 30 June 2018 to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) with a 302% loss after tax at N408.982 million from loss of N272.671 million at 217% in the same period in 2017.
The statement showed that total assets rose by 3.96% to N9.557 billion during the period, while gross premium declined by 6.03 per cent to N3.278 billion
The company said that it showed a negative solvency margin of N711,845.27 and a negative solvency ratio of 123.73% during the period.
