WorldStage– It was all promises and assurances of better future for Nigerians, especially the youths, by Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the All Progressives Party (APC) Youth Centre in Abuja on Tuesday night.
His presence at the Centre was at the instance of APC National Youth Leader, Dr. Dayo Israel, who had brought him to address the youths and update them on his plan for advancing their course and the need for them to actively engage in politics to determine their future themselves.
Also in attendance at the event were Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ben Kalu, Senators, Speakers of state Houses of Assembly among other eminent personalities.
WorldStage reports that as much as Seyi tried to get to the agenda for the night, the press from the ecstatic crowd drowned his efforts and had to end up passing few compliments and shouting some of the APC’s slogans in acknowledgement.
He also managed to push through the crowd to have handshake with as many as he could come in contact with while making for exit from the venue of the meeting.
Commenting on the president’s son presence for the meeting, the Youth Leader, Dayo Israel said: “I received my brother Mr Seyi Tinubu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Reps Rt Hon Ben Kalu, Senator Asuquo Ekpeyong, Senator Adegbonmire, Hon David Onwa, Hon Lanre Oshun, Hon Wale Ahmed, MD SSDC, DG SMEDAN, the Speakers of Kwara – Gombe and Ekiti, among other VVIPs and over 1000 Youths at the APC National Youth House for a Meet and Greet with Mr Seyi Tinubu.
“The crowd was wow, the event was amazing. Glory be to God and special thanks to my brother – ST for his presence. Special gratitude also goes to the Deputy Speaker and Senator Asuquo.”
