WorldStage Newsonline– President Bola Tinubu has expressed his heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, wife of the former Governor of Oyo State, on the passing of her beloved daughter, Mrs. Bisola Kola-Daisi.
In a poignant conversation with the bereaved mother on Thursday, President Tinubu conveyed his deep sympathy to the family during this time of profound loss, acknowledging the unexpected and heart-wrenching departure of a cherished daughter, devoted wife, and mother of three.
President Tinubu also extended his prayers and support to Mrs. Kola-Daisi’s husband, family, friends, and associates, remembering her as warm-hearted, industrious, and charitable.
He highlighted the enduring impact of Mrs Kola-Daisi’s contributions as a successful businesswoman and a trusted public servant in an advisory capacity, whose wise counsel in budgeting and finance was invaluable.
President Tinubu prayed for Almighty God’s grace to receive her soul and provide comfort and strength to her survivors.
Similarly, the Minister of Power, Mr Adebayo Adelabu, has expressed deep shock over the passing of Mrs Abisola Kola-Daisi, the first daughter of the late Sen. Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor and political leader of Oyo State.
In a statement issued on Thursday in Abuja by Bolaji Tunji, Special Adviser on Strategic Communications and Media Relations to the Minister, Adelabu described the news as a great shock.
The Minister extended his condolences to Abisola’s husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, her mother, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, and the Kola-Daisi and Ajimobi families.
Adelabu lauded Abisola as a remarkable woman who embodied grace, kindness, and strength.
“As the sister and wife of an accomplished professional, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, she carried herself with dignity and poise,” he said.
He further described her as a devoted mother, a caring family member, and a compassionate individual who touched lives with her warmth and generosity.
The minister expressed his sorrow, noting that the loss was especially painful, coming just a few years after the passing of her father, Sen. Abiola Ajimobi.
He offered condolences to her family, especially her mother, siblings, husband, and young children.
“I can only imagine the depth of grief being experienced,” he said.
Adelabu reassured the family, saying, “The legacy of Sen. Ajimobi lives on through his children, and though Abisola’s time with us was cut short, she made her mark through her kindness and love.”
He prayed that Allah grant the family strength and fortitude in this difficult time, and that Abisola’s soul rest in perfect peace.
The minister also prayed for Abisola’s children, hoping they would grow up to embody the virtues of integrity, compassion, and excellence passed down from their mother and grandfather
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has also expressed condolences to the family of former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, especially Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, over the death of their first daughter, Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi.
Governor Sanwo-Olu in a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Gboyega Akosile, commiserated with the immediate past Oyo State First Lady, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, over the demise of her daughter, describing it as tragic and shocking.
Sanwo-Olu, who also sympathised with the husband of the deceased, Mr Idris Kola-Daisi, and his family, urged the entire family, friends and associates of Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi to take her death as an act of God.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said the late Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi, who was a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu, lived a short but fulfilled life leaving her footprints on every project she handled for the country and making an impact in many lives that came in contact with her positively, during her lifetime.
He said: “The death of a loved one is very painful, as it is irreparable, but we must always take solace in God, especially if the deceased has lived a good life, just like the late Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi.
”I sympathise with former Oyo State First Lady, Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, the widower of the deceased, Mr. Idris Kola-Daisi and the entire Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families over Mrs. Bisola Kola-Daisi’s departure.
”I pray that God will grant the late Mrs Bisola Kola-Daisi eternal rest and grant the family and friends the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and avert such tragedy in the family.”
