*Mutiu Sunmonu resigns as Independent Non-Executive Director
WorldStage Newsonline– Unilever Nigeria Plc has released its unaudited interim financial statements for the three months ended 31 March 2024 with 25.7% rose in profit for the period to N3.356 billion from N2.670 billion in Q1 2023.
The result released at the Nigerian Exchange showed that revenue increased to N32.316 billion from N20.476 billion in Q1 2023
Meanwhile, the company has notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited and investing public that its Board had considered and accepted the resignation of Mr. Mutiu Sunmonu CON, as an Independent Non Executive Director with effect from 18th April 2024.
“The Board extends their best wishes and gratitude to Mr. Sunmonu for his valued contributions since his appointment in December 2015,” a notice at the Nigerian Exchange said.
“Mr. Sunmonu’s replacement on the Board of Unilever will be announced in due course.”
