WorldStage– Gaming and technology firm Secure Electronic Technology Plc has announced that its shareholders unanimously adopted all proposed resolutions at the company’s 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at The Event Warehouse in Ilupeju, Lagos.
According to a regulatory filing signed by Company Secretary Busiyi E. Osikanmi and submitted to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on September 25, 2026, shareholders approved the company’s FY 2025 financial statements, ratified key board appointments, and re-elected retiring directors.
Key Highlights of the AGM Resolutions:
Financial Statements Adoption: Shareholders received and approved the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2025, alongside reports from the Directors, External Auditors, and Statutory Audit Committee.
Director Re-Elections: Dr. Muyiwa Oladimeji, Mrs. Wobia-Agbosa, Mrs. Funmi Ajose Adeogun, and Alh. Sikiru Baruwa were re-elected as Directors after retiring by rotation in accordance with CAMA 2020 and the company’s Articles of Association.
Board Appointments Ratified:
Approval and ratification of Mrs. Leticia Otomewo as Executive Director, effective March 26, 2026.
Approval and ratification of Mr. Kwesi Obaseki as Non-Executive Director, effective March 26, 2026.
External Auditor Re-Appointment: Accounting firm Kehinde Kassim & Co. was re-appointed as External Auditor to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM, with the directors authorized to fix their remuneration.
Statutory Audit Committee Election: Shareholders elected Mr. Jonathan Ebora, Mr. Sosanwo Kolawole James, and Mr. Apete Wakilu to represent shareholders on the Statutory Audit Committee, alongside Mr. Akin Areola and Mrs. Nwadiuto Iheakanwa representing the Board of Directors.
