* Kidnapping of delegates in Ogun East.
The campaign team of Otunba Oluseyi Oduntan wishes to notify the public that there is no iota of truth in the story making the rounds that Otunba Seyi Oduntan has stepped down for Otunba Gbenga Daniel.
The story is not true, it is fabricated by those loyal to Daniel, it’s absolute falsehood.
Otunba Oduntan is very much in the race, he is the leading candidate and remains the man to beat in today’s Senatorial primary election.
Otunba Oduntan urges the media to always verify the information sent to them so as not to be caught in the web of falsehoods.
Meanwhile, it is a fact that some delegates have been held hostage at different hotels in Ijebu Ode and Sagamu.
Some delegates have been sending SOS messages that they were tricked to attend a meeting in some hotels and they have refused to let them go.
Many of them claimed to have been locked up at Conference hotels in Ijebu Ode and Sagamu as well as Grand hotel in Ijebu Ode.
KIDNAPPING
There is a major disquiet in Ogun East Senatorial District as elected delegated have reportedly been kidnapped and locked up against their will at various hotels in Ijebu Ode, Ijebu Igbo and Sagamu.
Reports coming out of Ogun East indicate that hundreds of delegates are being kept against their will at the following locations.
1. Conference Hotel, Ijebu Ode
2. Conference Hotel Sagamu
3. Grand Inn and suites hotel near the Ijebu Ode Stadium. The Commissioner of Police Ogun State has been alerted on these illegal and criminal activities and is said to be acting on it immediately. Arrests are imminent
