WorldStage– Consolidated Hallmark Plc, 70th most valuable company on the Nigerian Exchange Group, fixed its board meeting for March 30, a day before the deadline companies must publish their audited financial statements (AFS).
After every financial year, the Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX) provides for a 90-day period during which listed companies disclose their AFS on the group’s website.
Failure to meet the deadline attracts sanctions.
The insurance company however notified its shareholders and the investing public the next board meeting comes up F March 30.
“The meeting is to consider the Audited Financial Statements of the Company for the Year ended 31st December 2025 amongst other items,” company secretary, Rukevwe Falana, said in a statement March 26.
Consolidated Hallmark has yet to notify the exchange and the investing public it won’t meet the deadline, though. Many companies have filed notices informing the public the likelihood of their AFS disclosures missing the March 31 deadline.
