The newly elected President of the Association of Corporate Communication and Marketing Professionals in Banks (ACAMB), Mr Jide Sipe, has pledged to lead the association with courage, purpose and clarity.
Sipe made the pledge on Thursday in Lagos in his acceptance speech at the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and election.
He thanked members for the confidence reposed in him, describing the turnout and participation at the AGM as unprecedented and heartwarming.
The new president commended past presidents, trustees, members of the electoral committee and professionals for their contributions to the growth of the association.
Sipe said his administration would be anchored on four pillars: mentorship and career development, strengthening ACAMB’s relevance in the banking industry, active member engagement, and strong representation and advocacy.
According to him, he will remain an unrelenting advocate for members and the strategic value of corporate communication and marketing professionals.
“My focus is growth for members, growth for the association and protection of ACAMB’s values,” he said.
Sipe said his administration would build on the legacy of the outgoing executive while expanding the association’s relevance, impact and unity.
He pledged to work closely with his executive team to move ACAMB forward with courage, intention and shared responsibility.
