WorldStage Newsonline– The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has approached the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation to intervene in the water challenges facing some of the Air Force bases in Gombe, Kaduna and Bayelsa to enhance their operations.
The Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation is set to partner the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in order to tackle water challenges at some Air Force Bases in the country.
Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation Engr Professor Joseph Terlumun Utsev said when he received Nigerian Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar in his office in Abuja that they have resolved to tackle water challenges at some Air Force Bases as water is key to the smooth operation of troops.
He announced that a technical team would be dispatched immediately to some of the Air Force Bases to carry out a holistic assessment of the existing water plants for intervention in order to serve officers and men of the Nigerian Air Force better .
He acknowledged the contributions of the Nigerian Air force and other military formations in the country in safeguarding the nation’s territorial integrity over the years and assured him of sustained synergy and support at all times.
