WorldStage Newsonline– Nigeria NLG Limited (NLNG) has reacted to reports of an explosion at a gas processing plant in an upstream facility at Gbarain Ubie, Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State on Tuesday saying its operations were not impacted.
Earlier reports a pipeline explosion at an area bordering Obungha and Onopa communities in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Shell was said to be probing the incident while ruling out immediate shut-down of the Gbarian gas facility.
NLNG in a statement signed by Andy Odeh, General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development said “Please note that this does not impact the gas supply to the NLNG plant or our operations.”
