WorldStage– United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA) has officially notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), its shareholders, and the investing public of its upcoming Board of Directors meeting scheduled for Thursday, October 29, 2026.
According to a corporate notice issued on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, and signed by Group Company Secretary/Legal Counsel Bili A. Odum, the board will convene primarily to consider and approve the bank’s Unaudited Financial Statements for the third quarter (Q3) ending September 30, 2026.
In compliance with the post-listing requirements of the NGX, UBA has also declared a closed period for trading in the bank’s shares starting Thursday, October 1, 2026.
During this closed period, all insiders of the bank—including directors, employees, and their connected persons—are strictly prohibited from directly or indirectly dealing in UBA’s securities (shares and bonds).
The trading restriction will remain in effect until 24 hours after the bank’s Q3 financial results are formally released to the public.
