WorldStage– Secure Electronic Technology Plc, a technology infrastructure and gaming company based in Nigeria has officially announced that its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
According to a corporate notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and signed by Company Secretary Esther Osikanmi on August 7, 2026, the meeting will be held at The Events Warehouse, Plot CDE Industrial Crescent, off Town Planning Way, Ilupeju, Lagos, starting at 12:00 PM.
Key Agenda & Business Items
During the meeting, shareholders will consider and deliberate on standard business, including:
Financial Results: Laying before members the Audited Financial Statements for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, alongside the reports of the Directors, Auditors, and Audit Committee.
Director Re-elections: Re-electing directors who are retiring by rotation, including Mr. Ben Murray Bruce, Otunba Osibogun, Mrs. Wobia Allen-Agbosa (Alternate Mr. Tunde Ayeni), and Mr. Collins Chikeluba, all of whom have offered themselves for re-election.
Auditor Appointments & Audit Committee: Retiring and re-appointing the external auditors while authorizing directors to fix their remuneration, as well as electing/re-electing members of the Statutory Audit Committee.
Executive & Special Remuneration: Disclosing managers’ remuneration and formally approving the remuneration of Non-Executive Directors.
Important Information for Shareholders
Closure of Register: The Register of Members and Transfer Books will be closed from Friday, August 28, 2026, to Thursday, September 3, 2026 (both days inclusive) to enable register updates.
Proxy Voting: Shareholders unable to attend in person may appoint a proxy to vote on their behalf. Duly completed and stamped proxy forms must be deposited at the company’s registered office at 107 Bamgbose Street, Lagos Island, or emailed to PAC Registrars Limited (info@pacregistrars.com) at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. The company noted that it will cover the stamping costs for submitted proxy forms.
