WorldStage– Regency Alliance Insurance Plc has successfully completed its recapitalisation process and has been included on the list of insurance companies that met the applicable capital requirements published by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) on 13 August 2026.
In a statement released on Friday, the company informed the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), its shareholders, policyholders, brokers and other stakeholders of the milestone.
The successful completion of the exercise strengthens Regency Alliance’s financial position, enhances its underwriting capacity to handle larger and more complex risks, and positions the company to pursue new growth opportunities.
Management said the strengthened capital base also provides a solid foundation to accelerate strategic initiatives, improve customer experience, deepen technology adoption and innovation, and expand its contribution to the development of Nigeria’s insurance industry.
