WorldStage– Prestige Assurance Plc has officially notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public of a recent change to its Board of Directors following a board meeting held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at the company’s head office in Victoria Island, Lagos.
During the meeting, the Board accepted the resignation of Non-Executive Director Mrs. Girija Subramanian, effective July 31, 2026.
In a corporate statement signed by Company Secretary Mrs. Chidinma Ibe-Louis, the Board expressed its sincere appreciation to Mrs. Subramanian for her service, support, and contributions to the company’s growth during her tenure, wishing her success in her future endeavors.
Prestige Assurance Plc, a subsidiary of India-based The New India Assurance Co. Ltd., continues to operate under the leadership of Board Chairman Mrs. Funmi Oyetunji and Managing Director Mr. Umesh Rathod.
