WorldStage– The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen, has expressed shock and sadness over the demise of the Wakilin Fulanin Zazzau, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari.
Alhaji Bunari passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025, after a brief illness.
Abbas, in a condolence message issued through his Chief Press, Leke Olatunji Baiyewu, described Alhaji Buhari as a revered traditional and religious leader whose voice and opinions were respected.
The Speaker noted that Alhaji Buhari was loved by many due to his principles and beliefs. He added that the Wakilin Fulanin Zazzau would be sorely missed.
He commiserated with his family and extended his condolences to the Zazzau Emirate, the people and the chairman of Zaria Local Government Area.
The Speaker prayed to Allah (SWT) to forgive Alhaji Buhari his shortcomings and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.
The late Alhaji Buhari retired as Director of the Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Local Government, Kaduna State.
Before his retirement, he served in various LGAs across Kaduna.
Alhaji Buhari was survived by wives, children, and grandchildren.
