WorldStage– The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the 3rd National Para Games, Abuja 2026 being organized by Nigeria’s National Sports Commission (NSC) has announced that Moshood Abiola National Stadium (MKO Stadium), Abuja will serve as the primary hub for the event coming up from March 26 to April 3.
LOC said in a statement that the competitions will be held at various locations within and around the stadium complex, with specific events distributed across its various sections and external facilities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Among the sports listed for competition are Para Athletics, Para Powerlifting, Sitting Volleyball, Wheelchair Basketball, Para Taekwondo, Para Table Tennis, Para Badminton, Wheelchair Tennis, Para Swimming, Para Cycling, Para Karate, and Para Shooting.
Designated as site for sports as Amputee Football, Para Canoe, and Para Soccer is NYSC Orientation Camp at Kubwa.
The facility has been designated as the official Games Village to accommodate over 3,000 athletes and officials from all 36 states and the FCT.
Recent inspections by the LOC confirmed that 15 sports facilities are largely ready, with only minor technical adjustments and environmental improvements required before the opening ceremony.
