WorldStage Newsonline– Nigeria’s Minister of State Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo; Algeria’s Minister of Energy and Mines, H.E. Mohammed Arkab; and Niger Republic’s Minister of Petroleum, Dr. Sahabi Ouamarou on Tuesday endorsed the Steering Committee resolutions for the Trans-Sahara Gas Pipeline (TSGP) project in Algiers, Algeria.
The pipeline project is designed to transport natural gas from Nigeria through Niger to Algeria.
According to a statement, the endorsement paved the way for the execution of three key agreements: Feasibility Study Revalidation/Update – a comprehensive review of the project’s viability and potential; Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)-a confidentiality pact ensuring sensitive information remains protected; and Reimbursement Agreement -a financial arrangement outlining terms for reimbursement among the TSGP partners.
Executives from NNPC Ltd, SONATRACH, and SONIDEP were said to have signed the agreements, marking a significant milestone in the TSGP project.
