WorldStage– Geregu Power Plc has officially announced the commencement of a closed period for trading in the company’s shares, effective immediately, ahead of the release of its Unaudited Financial Statements and Accounts for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026.
In a official disclosure released to the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) on October 2, 2026, and signed by Company Secretary Gbeminiyi Shoda for The Structure HQ, the company stated that the restriction aligns with Rule 17.18(a) of the Exchange’s Closed Period Rules (Issuers’ Rules, 2015 as amended).
Under the terms of the closed period, all insiders, consultants, and persons closely connected to the power generation company are strictly prohibited from directly or indirectly dealing in Geregu Power Plc securities. The trading lock-up will remain in effect until 24 hours after the Q3 2026 financial results are officially published on the NGX Issuers’ Portal and made public.
The company confirmed that all relevant internal stakeholders and connected entities have been formally notified of the trading directive.
