WorldStage Newsonline– Zenith Bank Plc, Nigeria’s leading bank has announced the retirement of two non-executive directors, Mr Jeffrey Christopher Efeyini and Professor Chukuka Sam Enwemeka from the board with effect from July 1, 2022.
A notice at the Nigerian Exchange said the retirement had been approved by the board of directors at its meeting of April 28, 2022.
Mr Efeyini was said to have been appointed in June 2010 and at various time served as a member of board credit committee, board risk management committee, board audit and compliance committee and board governance, nominations and remuneration committee respectively.
Prof Enwemeka was said to have been appointed in June 2010 and at various times served as a memeber of board credit committee, board risk management committee, and chairman of board finance and general purpose committee respectively.
“The board and management of the bank appreciate their excellent leadership roles, their strategic insights and contributions to the growth of the bank and wish them success in their future endeavours,” the notice said.
