WorldStage– FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has reacted to the defection of 16 Rivers lawmakers from the PDP to the APC, saying they acted within their rights due to the division in the party.
Wike, who inspected an Abuja road project today, said though the situation is “unfortunate,” the PDP must fix its internal crisis to avoid further loss.
He confirmed he remains in the PDP and will continue working with the 10 lawmakers still loyal to the party.
“Those who left are free. Those who remain, we will work together,” Wike said.
