WorldStage Newsonline– A Non Executive Director of Vitafoam Nigeria Plc, a foam manufacturing company based in Ikeja, Lagos, Dr B.O Makanjuola was on August 31st 2020 reported to have purchased 19,082 units of the company at the Nigerian Stock Exchange at N5.08 per share which translated to N96,936.56.
A notice signed Mr Olalekan Sanni, Company Secretary/Legal Adviser confirmed that the transaction took place on 21st August 2020.
The late report of the transaction may have contravened the NSE regulation that all insiders related deals must be reported not more than two days after execution.
Dr Makanjuola was also earlier reported to have purchased 47493 units of the company on August 12, 13, and 17 2020.
Vitafoam is one of Nigeria’s largest foam manufacturers, producing both flexible and rigid polyurethane products. The company also owns interest in Vitafoam Ghana and Vitafoam Sierra Leone.
