WorldStage– Royal Exchange Plc has announced the appointment of Dr. Geoffrey C. Ohen as a Non-Executive Director of the company, effective Thursday, 23 July 2026.
In a notice filed with the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), the Board of Royal Exchange Plc confirmed that Dr. Ohen has the requisite skills and experience to contribute meaningfully to the Board and support the company’s continued growth and success.
In the notice signed on behalf of the company by Lovelyn Aniekwe for OOT Nominees Ltd, the Company Secretary. the company also stated that the appointee successfully completed the necessary regulatory and internal processes prior to his appointment.
Profile of Dr. Geoffrey C. Ohen
Dr. Ohen is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Geoff Ohen Group.
He holds several board-level leadership positions, including Chairman of Consolidated Resources Ltd, Ekocorp Plc, Owa Oil & Gas Ltd, and the Networth Group (which comprises Networth Securities & Finance Ltd and Networth Portfolio & Asset Management Ltd).
He previously served as Chairman of Piccadilly Insurance Ltd and New Patriot Building Society Ltd, and as a Director of Daily Times of Nigeria Plc.
Described as a widely travelled executive and philanthropist, Dr. Ohen is expected to bring strategic vision, business acumen and strong operational expertise to the Board of Royal Exchange Plc, supporting the company’s strategic leadership and expansion initiatives.
The appointment strengthens the Board of Royal Exchange Plc as the company continues its operations and growth plans in the Nigerian market.
