WorldStage– The Northern Governors Forum (NGF) has postponed its regional security summit earlier scheduled to hold in Kaduna on November 29, 2025.
The adjustment, according to the NGF’s Secretariat, followed the decision of seven governors from the north-west to participate in a separate security dialogue with the Senate Committee on Security.
The engagement was focused on addressing persistent challenges in the zone, including terrorism, banditry, and kidnappings, while strengthening cooperation between state governments and federal security agencies through improved intelligence sharing and quicker operational responses.
