WorldStage– Nigeria has officially secured the hosting rights for the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) 2027, with Lagos unveiled as the host city during the opening ceremony of IATF 2025 in Algiers, Algeria.
The announcement was made by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Chairman of the IATF 2025 Advisory Council, further underscoring Nigeria’s strategic importance in Africa’s economic integration.
This milestone reflects President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to positioning Nigeria as a hub for trade, investment, and economic growth under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The hosting flag was proudly received on behalf of the Federal Government by Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, marking Nigeria’s formal acceptance of this continental honor.
With Africa’s premier trade showcase now coming to Lagos, Nigeria is set to stand at the forefront of continental commerce, innovation, and collaboration, reinforcing its role as a key driver of Africa’s shared prosperity.
