Governor Yusuf gave this assurance in Abuja during the high-profile inauguration of the Arewa for Asiwaju (A4A) campaign office.
Speaking at the event, Governor Yusuf emphasized that the North remains committed to honoring political understandings between the nation’s regions.
The newly established political movement is designed to serve as a strategic platform to coordinate engagement and robust voter mobilisation across the 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory.
He confidently asserted that Kano State, long recognized as the commercial and electoral nerve center of Northern Nigeria, will leverage its massive voting strength to guarantee a resounding victory for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Kano, as the leading state with the highest number of votes in Northern Nigeria, will, in sha Allah, lead all Nigerian states to victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with massive turnout in favour of the APC,” Governor Yusuf stated.
In an official statement released by the Director-General of Media and Publicity at the Kano Government House, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the governor reiterated that his administration harbors no apologies for its alignment with the President.
He noted that ensuring the President’s re-election is a shared responsibility among patriotic northern leaders.
Also present at the inauguration was Vice President Kashim Shettima, who acknowledged the North’s historical and continuous political backing of the Tinubu administration.
While welcoming the endorsement, Shettima reminded political stakeholders that enduring loyalty must be sustained through accountability and impactful governance.
He urged the administration to remain fiercely responsive to economic realities and to continue delivering tangible structural developments that elevate the lives of ordinary citizens.
