WorldStage– Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has applauded the initiatives of President Bola Tinubu aimed at diversifying the economy for the prosperity of Nigerians
The farmer Governor stated this during a side event held shortly after the meeting of Progressive Governors Forum of the All Progressives Congress APC held in Kebbi State.
Governor Umaru Bago said, President Tinubu’s noble ideas are transforming the country to greater heights as he has put in place various programs to support Nigerians and enable them to become self sufficient.
He said, the President has directed every Governor to provide 1,000 people from each Ward in their respective States where beneficiaries will be empowered through small and medium enterprises.
The farmer governor also disclosed that President Tinubu is working tirelessly in addressing security challenges and urged Nigerians to remain patient.
Governor Bago used the forum to acknowledge his Kebbi State counterpart, Dr. Nasir Idris for his efforts at uniting the people of Kebbi State and for running an all inclusive governance where everyone is carried along.
The farmer governor who equally harped on leadership qualities said that every leader is expected to lead people with a sense of direction that will ensure that his subjects are well catered for.
He reassured the people that the ruling All Progressives Congress APC will continue to provide dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
