He also emphasized that his loyalty to the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains intact.
The former Minister who was speaking at a convocation lecture in Ondo State addressed the reasons for scale down of public profile since the change in administration, saying, after serving as a frontline minister for eight years, his current focus was to operat behind the scenes and engaging in mentorship and knowledge transfer to young Nigerians.
Mohammed has also appealed to Nigerians to have faith in the current government, acknowledging that some of the recent policies and decisions may be difficult but are ultimately for the country’s benefit.
He maintains that the administration is actively working to improve the economy, security, and infrastructure.
“I am a very loyal member of the APC,” he said.
“I am 100% behind this administration. But I have played my role on the front line. Whatever I need to do now, I will pass it through the back channels,” he added.
