WorldStage– With a 53 percent rise in sales to N1.1 trillion in 2025, from N697 billion in 2024, and N270 billion in profit after tax, 173 percent increase from N100 billion in 2024, Lafarge Africa Plc has proposed a N6 dividend per share to its shareholders in 2026.
The 2025 financial statement the group released on NGX Feb.26 indicates growth across major financial metrics. And the growths followed increase in production volume, cost and operational efficiencies, and commitment to shareholder value, according to CEO Lolu Alade-Akinyemi.
The management tided the group over its exposure to foreign exchange impairment last year, and other challenges including production capacity.
Meanwhile the board of directors has proposed a gross dividend of 600k (400 percent increase) on every ordinary share in issue, amounting to N96.7 billion , compared to 120k on each share, adding up to N19.3 billion in 2024.
The total amount of unclaimed dividend as of 41 December 2025 stood at N3.2 billion, according to the report.
In line with SEC guidelines, the company’s registrars, on behalf of the group, transferred N1.1 billion of the amount to the Unclaimed Funds Trust Fund (UFTF).
