WorldStage– Guinness Nigeria Plc has officially notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public that its Board of Directors will convene on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.
According to a corporate disclosure signed by Company Secretary Abimbola Ajibola-Jimoh, the primary purpose of the meeting is to consider and approve the company’s unaudited financial statements for the first quarter ending September 30, 2026, alongside other corporate matters.
In line with the post-listing rules of the NGX, Guinness Nigeria announced the commencement of a closed trading period starting October 1, 2026. During this period, all insiders—including directors, employees, and connected persons—are strictly prohibited from directly or indirectly trading in the company’s shares.
The trading restriction will remain in force until 24 hours after the quarterly financial results are formally released to the public. The company added that the board-approved results will be submitted via the Exchange’s Issuers’ Portal no later than Thursday, October 22, 2026.
