WorldStage– Fidelity Bank Plc has rescheduled its 38th Annual General Meeting (AGM) to Friday, October 9, 2026, where shareholders will evaluate the bank’s financial performance for the year ended December 31, 2025, and vote on key board appointments.
The virtual meeting, slated for 10:00 a.m. via the bank’s dedicated portal (fidelitybank.ng/agm), provides investors a critical platform to review audited financial statements, assess governance stability, and secure corporate updates that directly impact shareholder value.
In addition to laying the 2025 financial reports before members, the meeting agenda includes several corporate actions designed to protect investor interest and maintain strong governance standards:
Board Leadership Continuity: Shareholders will vote to re-elect Board Chairman Mrs. Amaka Onwughalu and vote on the appointment of Dr. Jonathan O. Ososuakpor as a Non-Executive Director. Chief Nelson Nweke will formally step down following his retirement by rotation.
Audit Oversight: Investors will elect members to the Statutory Audit Committee, ensuring financial reporting integrity and alignment with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria’s corporate governance standards.
Unclaimed Dividends & Mandates: The bank advised investors to claim outstanding dividend warrants and update their records via the NIBSS e-Dividend Mandate portal or through First Registrars & Investor Services Limited to optimize cash flow returns.
Except for the revised date, all earlier submitted proxies and proposed resolutions from the original June 11, 2026 notice remain fully valid for Friday’s rescheduled meeting.
