WorldStage– Beta Glass Plc, the leading glass container manufacturer in West and Central Africa has announced the departure of the Board Chairman, Dr. Vitus Ezinwa, from its Board of Directors and the appointment of Mr. ‘Boye Olusanya as the new Chairman of the Board, effective 30th July 2026.
In a notice filed at the Nigerian Exchange, the Board expressed its sincere
gratitude for his dedicated service and strategic guidance, which have been instrumental to the Company’s growth.
“The Board wishes him continued success in his future pursuits,” the note said.
Mr. ‘Boye Olusanya (Non-Executive Director) is a transformational business leader with over 25 years of executive leadership experience across FMCG, agriculture, telecommunications, technology, energy, infrastructure, and financial services.
He serves as Group Chief Executive Officer of FMN Holdings Limited, leading the transformation of one of Africa’s largest food and agro-industrial businesses into a vertically integrated, consumer-centric platform.
Previously, he held senior leadership roles at VMobile (formerly ECONET Wireless), Dancom Technologies, Dangote Industries, 9mobile, and Helios Investment Partners, driving enterprise transformation and operational excellence.
He previously served as Chairman of Axxela Limited, is the Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group, and a member of the Presidential Food Systems Coordination Unit.
