WorldStage– Telecommunications and mobile money operator Airtel Africa plc has formally issued a market disclosure detailing its total voting rights and issued share capital as of August 31, 2026.
In a regulatory statement published simultaneously in London and Lagos in accordance with the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 5.6.1R, the group confirmed that its total issued share capital stands at 3,635,772,073 ordinary shares of USD 0.50 each.

Issued Share Capital: 3,635,772,073 ordinary shares of USD 0.50 each, with each ordinary share carrying one vote.
Treasury Shares: 6,136,678 ordinary shares are held in treasury. Under statutory regulations, shares held in treasury do not carry voting rights.
Total Net Voting Rights: Discounting treasury holdings, the total number of voting rights in the company stands at 3,629,635,395.
Regulatory Reference Point: The total voting figure of 3,629,635,395 serves as the required denominator for shareholders and institutional investors to determine if they must report new equity stakes or changes to existing holdings under the FCA’s Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
